An Introduction

So it is time that I start recording how my life works.  Not only to have a record of it, but so that others can see my process in how I get things done, so that I can share my thoughts and ideas, and so that I can receive feedback on the things I am doing.

I'm a artist, a linguist, a philosopher in my own way, and above all else, human.  This means I have an inherent need to be social and a part of the global community.  This blog will be my contribution.  I have always been interested in the development of communication really, particularly visual communication.  Fine Art first caught my eye in middle school when I found that it served as a happy escape from the strictly governed direction of general education.  Art was a way to think freely and express.  This, coupled with my love of games (both digital and table-top) has brought me where I am today.  I currently study Interactive Design and Game Development at the Savannah College of Art and Design.  I have never been happier.  Coming here was a more difficult decision than some believe (mainly my family), but I was torn between studying game art and design and foreign language.  These are my two passions.

My interest in foreign culture and language has always impacted the way I create.  In my opinion this is for the better.  It inspires me to look to places I have been to use as a reference for the places I create.  Often when I write or draw my characters and settings are derived from cultures across the globe.  Anyway, for now this is an introduction to me, I look forward to posting with you in the future!!!

A note...
My Blog is set up in away that I can separate general posts from project design blogs and posts about "my life."  The set up is still tentative and subject to change but that's how things are currently.
